Painting
Start painting cornices only when adhesive/filler is dry to the touch.
Use water-based or acrylic paints for all DAS cornices.
For bathrooms and kitchens with higher moisture levels, use water-based ENAMEL paint.
Avoid solvent-based paints, primers and enamels as they are corrosive on polystyrene.
Cutting
These cornices are easily cut with a fine-toothed panel saw or hacksaw.
For the best precision cutting, use the large mitre box we offer.
Do not attempt cutting the cornices with a hot wire mechanism!
